Born in Bergville, KZN, Thobeka’s journey has been anything but easy. As the saying goes, “Tough times create tough individuals,” and she has certainly embodied this resilience. Through challenges and setbacks, she has remained steadfast in pursuing her passion, always putting her dreams first.

Her rise to the spotlight began with her international modelling debut in the Philippines. It was there, after being featured in numerous interviews across radio, newspapers, and television, that her love for media and journalism was ignited. It was then that she boldly declared: “I want to be the Queen of the Mic.”

Determined to turn her vision into reality, Thobeka has worn many hats in the media industry. She started as an intern at Jozi FM, then honed her craft at Hillbrow FM in Johannesburg, before making her mark in several community newspapers in Durban. Now, the time has come for this powerhouse to reclaim her place on the airwaves.
