Master KG and Nomcebo’s hit track Jerusalema was named as the most Shazamed song in the world by the Apple-owned music app. The song, initially released in 2019, has been making waves since the beginning of the year with the Jerusalema dance challenge taking over the global scene.
Being number one on the app is a big deal because it means the whole world wants to know the artist behind the song Jerusalema.
Fans all over the world, and mainly in South Africa, congratulated and celebrated the achievement by one of their own. The comments and retweets are skyrocketing to date.
Shazam announced the official news on September 8 via their Instagram and Twitter accounts with them congratulating the singer on his incredible accomplishment.
